Epiphany Lutheran Church

Our Ministries

Comfort Ye My People (CYMP)

This ministry is dedicated to making quilts/comforters for Lutheran World Relief.  If you can tie knots, pin fabric together, etc., you have what it takes to be a part of this group.  CYMP meets on the 4th Sunday of each month at 11:30 am.

Text Box: Knitting for Peace
If you knit, or would like to learn how, this group will guide you on your way to creating baby hats, booties, blankets, etc. All items are given to Lutheran World Relief to help those in need.

Parents Night Out

Open to all families with children ages newborn through 3rd grade, children are offered loving, Christian care once a month.  Our adult caregivers allow parents to enjoy time away from demanding parental duties. So we know how many children to plan our activities for, there is a sign-up sheet on the church office door each month.

Text Box: Parish Health Ministry
Once a month, Epiphany provides a blood pressure screening day. Registered nurses offer their services following worship.

Epiphany Softball Team

As a co-ed softball team, Epiphany participates in summer games (and has a pretty respectable record!).

Text Box: Vacation Bible School
Offered each summer for one week, the children enjoy stories, games, crafts, music, and snacks while learning what the Bible has to teach us.

The Isaiah Center

The Isaiah Center is a Christ-Centered, Ecumenical Grief Ministry.  Please visit The Isaiah Center’s link on the navigation bar to learn more about this  ministry.

Text Box: Easter Egg Hunt
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is always fun for children ages 1 to 10. Usually held on the Saturday before Easter (rain or shine), the morning includes hearing the Easter story, age-appropriate crafts, a special Easter snack, and, of course, hunting for those eggs!

Choir

Epiphany’s Adult Choir is open to all and offers special vocal selections for worship.  The choir practices for approximately one hour on Wednesday evenings beginning at 7:00 pm.

Text Box: Women’s Bible Study
This study group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month, beginning at 11:30 am with a brown-bag lunch and fellowship. All women are welcome!

50+ Group

If you are over age 49, please join this group which meets on the 3rd Monday of each month for fellowship and fun,  usually beginning at 10:00 am. The 50+ Group is very active and loves to take interesting tours of local sites.

Text Box: Puppet Ministry
Our Puppet Ministry Team delivers a fun and meaningful children’s message once a month during our 10:15 am worship service. The puppets have also helped out at other times such as during the Easter Egg Hunt program!
Text Box: Prayer Circle
This group lifts up those in need in daily, intentional prayer.
